“We find the scriptures too wordy, the preacher long winded, hymns dull our ears, godly values and commandments impractical to embrace. with so much energy and creativity, the world turns too slow to keep up with us”
Yes, we are the youth, embodiments of folly and sin. But do not despise us, for we have the hope of glory. Our Shepherd will deliver us, in the most beneficial way to the godly, most crushing to the tempter, and most glorifying to Himself.
Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves, three strands are not easily broken. So we are many, following one Shepherd. We share our struggles, not just bible knowledge on Sunday sessions. Together we laugh, we cry, we play, we pray, and see all the awkwardness in one another.
Our talents permeate deep into our church. If we are not the muscles, then we are joints. Out of us come ideas, musicians, teachers and technicians, serving as various parts in the body of Christ. Mingle with the young of Sunday school to the aged of old folks homes, we learn to love in our weaknesses all with the grace of God.
